Use the roadmap to sequence work
Start with the initiatives that are already supported by research or audit findings. Compare impact, effort, dependencies, and ownership before deciding the order. A task that unlocks several later actions may need to move ahead of an isolated quick win even when both appear important.
Keep the plan current
Update status and ownership as work moves forward, and make blocked items visible instead of leaving them in the same queue as ready tasks. Use the timeline as a working work view rather than a one-time presentation. When priorities change, record the new decision so the roadmap still explains why work is being sequenced in that order.
Practical handoff check
Before the file is treated as finished, read it once from the perspective of the person who will use it next. Remove stale placeholders, keep unresolved questions visible, and make sure the main evidence and next action are easy to find. A completed template should show what was checked without implying that open items were already verified.
Keep the final version focused on the project in front of you. Delete examples that no longer apply, use plain notes where context is needed, and avoid filling a field simply because it exists. The goal is a file that can move directly into review or work without another round of cleanup.
